Ringo And The Wolf

6pm until 10pm

Three people with three letter names gathered together in the summer of 2017 with a brave vision to create new and interesting sounds. They banded together against the elements and set sail across Wharfedale to pillage the neighbouring genres for their notes and chord progressions. With loot ransacked from the wrecks of Hip hop, rock, and funk, the indubitable trio returned to their lair and plotted alchemy. On the way past they went through Jazz’s handbag and nicked the hat from the head of the Blues, just for good measure.

‘A truly distinctive gem’ – The Unsigned Guide

‘Fans of energetic, abrasive vocals and fuzzy guitars will find plenty to dig here’ – GIGsoup

‘Snarling vocals and propellant rhythms which coalesce as intelligently manicured fury’ – PureGrainAudio.com

UNCOMELY are primarily inspired by the wave of psychedelic, grunge and punk rock bands that revolutionised music in the ’60s and ’90s.

Having found a base in Leeds recording their Games People Play EP and Black Flowers single at Greenmount Studios (The Cribs / Pulled Apart By Horses), they’ve also collaborated with producers, artists, directors and photographers all over Europe in their quest to create challenging and authentic work.

Ringo And The Wolf

The Leeds rockers produce music for those who want to get lost in a sound of reverb drenched guitars, driving drum beats and warm synths. Those who’ve experienced what life throws at them. Those with past pains and future desires. Named after two iconic characters from cult cinema masterpiece Pulp Fiction, RINGO AND THE WOLF are for fans of The War On Drugs, The National, Ryan Adams and Band of Horses. You should get them in your ears – they’re playing to whoever is listening.

“Leeds band Ringo And The Wolf are rapidly establishing themselves as one of the best bands in the area!”
